HEAT WAVE at VIR

The heat is proving to be a challenge for everyone this weekend as temps creep upwards of 100 degrees.  Being that this is my first trip to VIR, I did not expect to be competing for any top positions.  The first practice session I was just being conservative and taking in as much information as I could.  It was a great learning session, putting into practice all the points from the in car video that I had watched up to this point.  Qualifying was very short and I was still getting comfortable in the car but was able to put in a decent lap that put me in 9th position on the grid.

The weather was changing and about an hour before our race, NASA suspended all operations because of lightning.  Our race was pushed back about an hour and It began raining right before we went to grid.  We decided that the rain wasn't substantial enough for rains and we went to grid with full sway bars and and dry tires.  The first few laps were very difficult because the rain was substantial and there was very much spray from the other cars.  I was able to make up a few positions, and the rain began to slow.  With the rain stopped and 30+ cars, the track began to dry.  I was able to pull away from the cars behind me and make up another position.  I was challenging for 5th position on the last turn of the last lap coming on two the front straight when the driver made a suspicious braking move.  I lost a little momentum and wasn't able to take the position from him.  Overall it was a great race and I am much looking forward to todays qualifying and race sessions.  Hopefully the track will remain dry and I will get more time at pace.

Set this right pay day loans and then sign on the dotted lines. They would also need this in order to withdraw money from pay day loans your account when the payment is due. However, sometimes the irony of life is that in that crucial moment that you would be personal loans needing cash is also the moment where you have nothing to spend.
