3rd and 4th at HYPERFEST made it most certainly a race weekend to remember.  I had a great time getting back into my racing routine and reconnecting with friends from the around the motorsports world.  The weather was overall fantastic, giving us just a little bit of rain for a wet qualifying session on Sunday morning.  I think that we can be satisfied with the results of the weekend given the variables.  Saturday’s race was an absolute blast.  Given the fact that we were still adjusting to the car and that I had the only car in the field without ABS, we were still able to run near the front.  A few cars very close to me had problems as well as collisions which gave us the opportunity to grab third position in exhilarating fashion.  I was able to pressure the leaders into small mistakes during the closing laps but just wasn't quite quick enough with the setup to make a move.

Sunday’s race proved to be more interesting in many ways.  Qualifying in the wet gave us the opportunity to jump ahead of most of the competition.  Driving a car for the first time at race pace in the wet with used rain tires and no ABS proved to be difficult but we were able to manage a P3 starting spot.  The weather returned to beautiful for the drop of the green flag and I managed to squeeze my way into second.  We immediately realized we didn't have the setup to challenge for the lead which prompted a 20 lap battle for 2nd place.  Over the next few laps we overworked the front tires affecting our braking and balance through the middle and out of the corners.  It was all that I could do to keep the car in the fight for a podium while the drivers around me drove a much easier race.  Unfortunately we did have a minor collision with an unexpected out of class car that we were lapping.  It should have been about 5 seconds a lap faster than us, but when he broke uncharacteristically early for turn 10, I didn't have the room to escape his quickly approaching rear bumper.  A damaged hood and bumper affected our aero enough to no longer challenge for second and we fell to fourth after a multi-lap battle.

As usual NASA did an excellent job of executing this weekend.  We were able to share with many about CSI and their security consultant services.  Please check out their site and products at www.childsafetyincorp.com/.  We were also able to represent Racers for Christ which is an incredible organization that provides outreach at race tracks all across the United States.  Please check out their organization at www.teamrfc.org/.  Have a Blessed Independence Day and thank you for reading.

Set this right pay day loans and then sign on the dotted lines. They would also need this in order to withdraw money from pay day loans your account when the payment is due. However, sometimes the irony of life is that in that crucial moment that you would be personal loans needing cash is also the moment where you have nothing to spend.
